This quick and easy Panettone Bread and Butter Pudding is ridiculously yummy, and you can jazz it up with all sorts of additions – Chocolate Chips, Nuts, Jam, Fruit… ANything you like! Also, it doesn’t even need to be Panettone! You can make this pudding with Brioche, Pastries such as Croissants or Pain Aux Chocolate or even good old regular BREAD!

150ml Whole Milk
150g Double Cream (Thick Cream)
1 Cinnamon Stick (optional)

65g Unsalted Butter
50g Caster Sugar
2 Whole Eggs
1 Egg Yolk
Demerara Sugar approx 50g (this is not necessary but recommended!)
All the rest is optional…..
Chocolate about 50g – I like dark choc best!
Chopped Roasted Hazelnuts (or other nut) about 50g
Jam – I used Cherry
Glace Cherries or other dried fruit.
